They do offer a cube option. The Ding Junhui edition is made in Finland by Taom:

It's just unfortunate that it's not available through them directly.

Hi, My name is 3kushn and I have a problem. There is hope. I used to be driller. After boring 10,000 holes, I adopted the swipe technique after a pool buddy showed me the way. If need be, you can join my Drillers Anonymous club and can then complete the 12 step process then no more shaving the edges of chalk required ever again. But one must first be willing to admit they have a problem.
A friend of mine just got the Pagulayan one, for that very reason. (He loves it)i think pagulayan sells a square one
Yes locally.....$20 (custom letters) .....+$6 If I have to ship it....(US only)sell them?
Correct. Rotate how you hold the chalk and brush. Don't grind or drill. A piece of chalk goes a long time that way.Try holding the chalk by its corners rather than by its sides when you're swiping.

Did you rotate the cue, or stand it up and walk around it?There is hope. I used to be driller. After boring 10,000 holes, I adopted the swipe technique after a pool buddy showed me the way. Pagulayan sells cube shaped Taom..They need to offer a 'cube' option. Even tho they're supposed to last longer i do not like the feel of the round chalks at all. I still laugh when i think about the guy i saw drop a round chalk and it got kicked twice. He chased that damn thing like it was loose diamond. At these prices it almost is.
you're right, the guy I bought my break cue from is a DJH chalk brand ambassador, sales guy or whatever. He gave me a piece. IT seems a little stout/short, but is just square Taom. (and now there is some branded as pagulayan chalk for the US market). They do offer a cube option. The Ding Junhui edition is made in Finland by Taom:

What a cool idea!!I did not like the round chalk either....I just made my own comfort grip for it......put the cover on it and put it in my case or pocket when not using it....
The black does not photo well but it has indents and cut outs for the fingers and top....made of TPU (not hard plastic) so won't break when stepped or sat on and has a rubber grip feel to it.

Taom round chalk, also doesn't roll away too far/isn't really an issue as big as some people want to make out lolTaom round chalk fits just fine in almost any square chalk holder
I had one roll from Denver to North Platte Nebraska not long ago. I-76 and headed East on I-80, it was crazy.Taom round chalk, also doesn't roll away too far/isn't really an issue as big as some people want to make out lol
hahahaha damn, 30$ right down the I-80. Kind of thing that makes A lowly block of triangle make senseI had one roll from Denver to North Platte Nebraska not long ago. I-76 and headed East on I-80, it was crazy.
I've watched guys who normally have good chalking habits grind the crap out of a piece when they're down or getting left hooked all the time. Unconscious reaction to stress of match I guess. After so many years of playing I guess I just chalk the way I chalk : -)

drill baby, drill
He's a Wadder, not a folder.I don’t drill, but roll, & then swipe.
