I hope its true as well. If he's right when he comes back I think his presence will push the rest of the players to up their game.
i think he would thrive with the new break rules

I remember Henn playing SVB even and almost getting the money 15 yrs ago.Hennessey has the heart of a champion. Those guys are in a higher weight class.
Yeah but in the long run its not even close.I remember Henn playing SVB even and almost getting the money 15 yrs ago.
It's unfortunate.I met a guy at a big tournament recently who told me Justin is planning to get back in the mix soon.
I hope it's true.
shot clock would be needed for BergmanHenny vs Bergman would be a fun match. Make it happen. I'll buy it.
that's a LONG time ago for a pool player. iirc Henny had a bad car/bike wreck and took a while just to play again. plus he ain't any younger. last time i saw him gamble high was in tunica in '12.I remember Henn playing SVB even and almost getting the money 15 yrs ago.
He played a pretty big set last year with Patsura. 10ball on the 9 foot. Play was fairly even. Patsura broke much better, and often followed a rack win with a B&R. Henney almost never made a ball on the break, so he could not get any momentum. The break advantage affected the score greatly iirc.that's a LONG time ago for a pool player. iirc Henny had a bad car/bike wreck and took a while just to play again. plus he ain't any younger. last time i saw him gamble high was in tunica in '12.
I've been told it's nothing to do with covid. I was told that he is on a dark road, I was on that road before ( clean 6 years now), but from what I understand he dosen't want to leave home because of addiction. Yes I said it. I would think that's why he wont travel because of fear of getting ( busted) or not being able to feed his addiction away from home. There was a video that surfaced last year of him playing in a guy's house and he is wearing a mask I would assume that his teeth could be bad and he doesn't want to show them. I truly hope he can get his life together. It would be awsome to see him back out playing to bootScared to travel or do anything....

Before that wreck he was playing the best he ever has. At that time Shane was probably the only American who was a favorite (especially at his pool room). He's got a ton of heart and gamble and is honestly a pretty good guy who has let his emotions get the best of him at times. He's still very capable of of getting the cash but has never been the same since that wreck.that's a LONG time ago for a pool player. iirc Henny had a bad car/bike wreck and took a while just to play again. plus he ain't any younger. last time i saw him gamble high was in tunica in '12.
I was there that year. If I am not mistaken... I think it might have been more like 12 years ago.. Whenever the last year at the Executive West was. There was a LOT of action at the Executive West DCCs, before we got stuck with that f**king casino.Shane gave him I think it was the 7, or maybe even the 7-out, in 10 ball about 10 years ago at the DCC. I saw it with my own eyes. Shane won 2 or 3 sets. The sets were something like race to 17 or 21 for maybe 5-10k each. That "should" also mean they probably played a few times before at a smaller handicap.
Those 3 Europeans I highly doubt it. I think Hennessy has been laying low for years. His name just started popping back up. Those 3 guys came on the scene when Henn wasn't that active, IMO.
That's not a terribly big spot if your opponent outbreaks you 2-to-1.... And runs out better than you.I have heard of SVB giving other "pros" incredibly huge spots. Didn't he give Cory Duel the 6?
That's interesting. I don't believe I've ever seen that done on purpose and often. The typical default is to hide and/or leave long.Grady would play a stop shot safe dead in the middle of the table.. And Justyn had no workable shot, and nothing but awkward angles to play off of. And Grady did that over and over.
No, Jayson was 27. He was Billiards Digest Player of the Year in 2016 and US Open 9ball champion in 2017. We are talking about Shaw in his prime, not a Shaw that had yet to bloom.Shaw was young then, let's see him or Hennessey take on some of the elite now. Let's see if he really has $$$gamble!$$$ I don't think they will play them for big bucks.
