So, after 7 years of playing on my 9 foot Diamond Pro-Am (single slate) in my garage, I bought a new house big enough to bring it inside. The challenge was that the billiard room needs to be in the basement.
. I called around and found a guy who would do it and he had great reviews. Juan Manuel at Pool Table Service DMV (Northern VA area) brought his crew in, disassembled and loaded up, drove about 2 miles to my new pad and had it installed in the basement and perfectly leveled in under 2 hours!
They showed up with no custom jacks or dollies, no winches, just strong backs. It was tough to watch...they slid the box and then the single piece slate down those furniture pads! No problem, no damage, they put it all back together and level without a blemish. It took the Diamond guys 3 hours to install it in my garage, these guys moved it and reinstalled it in under 2 hours. I highly recommend them.
Now I gotta figure out how I'm going to decorate this thing...starting with wall shelves, cue holders and spectator chairs. Then I'll see what wall art, etc.
