Effren beat Earl 120-117. This time the American wins!
Man, what a match and 64,000 hits on this thread. I couldn't watch it yesterday, but I was checking out the Facebook page of Window's Open every 10 minutes, hoping to see the score. When I fell asleep, Fedor was up 10 points. This match here is what they call "epic."
Shane really gutted it out, what a match for him. This is a real notch on his gun belt. Gorst is as tough as they come, Shane should be proud of himself. He is his generations undisputed king of winner breaks.
I call him “Kid” in every txt message or phone call. I’m 57. He’ll be “Kid” when he’s a 100. I think that’s cool to have a nickname for what ever reason-when it was earned, not chose. I didn’t choose mine. That’s what makes pool cool. Ask toupee Jay

Super long sets are SVB’s strong suit, not the M-Cup. That’s a different thing all together.
Pretty good Shane woke up and came back. That’s very very hard to do.
Clearly I was wrong about age and or stamina. Shane faded a bit early today, but dug deep and came back. That’s a true champion, not that there’s a doubt. Just amazing how he’s been doing it for so long and by all appearances is still 100%.
Credit to Fedor, being that close against Shane is SUPER strong. I’m certain he’ll want to play this game again or to 100. Can’t be that close and not take a shot or 2 more.

I know you don’t like it, but your fans love it. They really do, I talk to people everyday in the pool world and of course your name comes up and when it does 85% is always positive good stuff-which is pretty good in the pool world to have 85%. Some guys don’t get 15% positive ratings.
When I get back to LA I’ll call you.
Oddly enough I like being called Fatboy, it makes me happy. Who knows why? It really does. Funny how things are in life.

I read every post. So I could get a feel of the momentum swings. Which this thread was among the best ever with no gaps in the action. That was great and a credit to the AZB railbird club!
