Show me your wrapless cues

Bit too fancy for me, but the wood used in the center is awesome
When I was talking to the cuemaker about building a cue, I really just wanted the rings and spalted maple handle and was going to just leave the forearm wood only. He decided to do the inlay design, which was a copy of another cue he built or was building at the same time. So my cue has a sort of a twin, but in different woods and with a wrap. It came out amazingly well. I have had people offer me over $2,000 for it on the spot for it without even knowing who made it.

Here's my current playing cue. A custom Jacoby.

I totally love this cue. Segmented Handle is Madrone Burl and the rest of the cue is Pheasant Wood. I really like how the white ring work is subtle and not over powering.

Thanks @Coos Cues !!

Show me what you got! Looking for some inspiration...

Having played against somebody using a very Jazzy and expensive Zen cue, I am thinking that I am going to walk that road... He has the contact and language ability to help me get what I want. I've been looking for another cue as a spare or main player and thought this a suitable way to use some of my end of contract bonus. Been looking for a second cue for a while, as I travel between locations and hate the rigmarole involved of taking it on the plane or high speed train (The Tonkin that I was looking at was sold while I was on vacation :( )

My current player is a Vigus. Purple Heart into curly maple with veneers. Simple and beautiful.

So, I was thinking very simple; ebony butt sleeve, 6 points with a purple heart forearm. Possibly some veneers.

Thanks for sharing :)

Wrapless, simplicity, and economical? Wisconsin company Schmelke has no-splice, no-veneer cues of shedua ($110), goncola alves ($155), or rosewood ($150; out of stock). Or go simplicity with a spliced, not cheap, cocobolo into kielwood forearm ($475).

Also below is an earlier Schmelke that was on Facebook with a finish glossier than used at Schmelke today (at least that was told to me in another AZ post; maple?
Can't Schmelke provide high-resolution photos on their website?
