Can anyone help/advise on my Brunswick Gold Crown 9??

Google McDonald's Billiards in Knoxville TN. It's been in business for many years. The old man has passed away but his son grew up in it and runs it now to my knowledge. Heck they might be interested in it themselves but they also sell, set up, and move tables. They used to have display tables that you could come in and they'd rack up for you at 15 cents per rack. I haven't been in there in 25 years but it looks like they are still in business.

TY Sam! (y)

REALLY happy. I bought a 9' gold crown with properly extended rail beds to 4" pockets for $500. That ain't happening every day, but you'll find room closures etc with em' for 1000-1500 all the time.

Got my pristine privately owned GCI for $300 but I had to send the rails out to be modified and tightened but it came with a floor stand 2 sided matching Brunswick cue rack, a Titlist and a bunch True Balance house cues.

From pain, comes pleasure...

Every time I see your cool ass polisher I start wondering if I could just modify my Diamond to look like that. I think its very doable but I have a couple of cars that have been sitting for as long as 19 years, I have too many other projects.

You can just buy that polisher on FB Marketplace;) I kid, I kid!:):):)
The sad thing is that I wouldn't be surprised to see it on Marketplace for sale, listed in at least 32 states with the exact same picture and requiring pre-paid Apple cards rather than cash for purchase.

Thanks for the tip Sam! Talked to them and he put me in contact w/ one his vet installers/mechanics who just called me back and said "what a coincidence!..."his son just moved into a new house and was asking him to keep an eye out for a "newer looking" GC. They are set to come over this Sunday (I said I'd take $3.5K if he hauled it out and he said he thought that might work if it's as nice as the pics show!)! TY for all the feedback guys! Fingers crossed. 🤞

Glad I could help. If it doesn't work out I sent you a PM.

For the $500, I got several sneaky petes, a short cue, two full super aramith pro sets and a partial. and a table light.

It was funny, my buddy in Texas was browsing the facebook marketplace. He found it and asked me where it was. It was 2 blocks from my house. We had gotten it within 30 minutes of it being posted.

Please consider that most of the posters here have been lucky enough to find good deals on tables. They are also connected to the game, so they know that tables can be found on the cheap..... The buyer that you are likely to attract is someone who is not so well connected. Someone who just likes shiny things, and actually has enough space for a 9' pool table.

In my own personal experience, this table could net $4K+, if sold on eBay. If sold locally, you might not get $3K. If you create a Facebook Marketplace listing, be sure to list it in a number of related billiard groups, to attract attention. You might also consider 'Promoting' the post, to get more attention.

I gave a crazy deal on a Gold Crown I, with a quick paint job, but the rails were updated to 4.5" pockets, and had Artemis cushions. The client that bought the table later listed it on eBay. He sold it to a gentleman on the other side of the country, for $4500. The buyer knew nothing about Artemis cushions or 4.5" pockets. He just liked the shade of blue that I painted the table. That buyer had to pay $750 for disassembly and crating of the slates, plus the cost of a moving company to transport the table 2,000+ miles, and then an installer to reassemble the table. He had to have been into it for more than $6500. Just an FYI.
