Would you rather shoot 5 (3 packs) 3 BnR in a row?
or
3 (5 packs) 5 BnR in a row?

Long race like to maybe 35 or 50?

Looks like the last number in your first line should be a 3 rather then a 5.

Yowser, 15 Break and run racks in a race to 35 match? Awfully few players are capable of that even once in a lifetime, and even the greatest players of all time would be proud of such a feat.

If I were a world championship caliber player capable of such a feat, I think I'd rather run three five-packs, just for the psychological pressure it would put on my opponent.

Thanks, changed. Now answer as you are the stat person :)
I guess I'd choose the three 5-packs. Keeping my opponent in his seat for longer periods of time might affect his play when he got back to the table more than if he had waited through 3-packs (even though there would be more of those).

The race can be anything, I tried to put a ? to show that it is just a long race.

I'd rather 5 groups of 3 racks.

It probably takes a Fargo 770 to run three five-packs in a race to 120. It's a very high standard. Five three-packs seems more likely.

I'd take 3 groups of 5, for the momentum gain and psychological elevation.

I'd take 5 groups of 3 too... anything that gets me over the line 😇

I never ran a 5 pack in my life, so I’d like to run 5. Isn’t likely to ever happen, but fun to think about. 4 is my best once on HUGE pockets

3 5 packs are better imo. For 15 of my wins, the opponent had 3 total innings, vs 5 total innings. 2 less innings for him to get something going.

It was a question. What is your choice of the 2?
Sorry. I already answered that just moving on. My druther is stringing 15 at a time at will (no I can't do that).

If anyone's curious as to why sports performance is not the domain of the individual player I will illuminate. :D
