RIP "Colonel."

It is my sad duty to inform the AZ community that long term member the 'Colonel' has passed away.
Kentucky Fried Lock, of the Lock Society, intellectual giant and man of deep faith, many of you recall 'Colonels' deep knowledge of the game and his many posts that resembled Garczar's in their honesty and devil may care attitude. He always spoke the truth.
A Monster among monster players, Bruno and I shared an affliction called Asperger's, which denied him the opportunity to compete on the tournament circuit.
Players everywhere should be thanking the diety of their choice for that gift.
Deceptively good with a smooth stroke, his game was simple and resembled Mosconi's in every detail. His father, owner of a hall, made Bruno run 10 racks everyday after school, creating said 'Monster.'
'Raised in a pool hall by Wolves" was his account moniker. How true.
Good friend of Luther 'Wimpie' Lassiter, who commented "I can't beat him." Nuff said.
I owe the 'Colonel' a debt I can never repay for his help with my mental game.
The Colonel passed peacefully in Barbados at a friends' estate.
Go with God Brother.

A Monster among monster players, Bruno was afflicted with Asperger's like myself, which denied him the opportunity to compete on the tournament circuit.

My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Sir.

Oh no. I don't like that one bit.

That was a well-liked man right there.
The Colonel didn't give a rats ass what anybody thot of him. Confident and comfortable in his own skin. A true 1%er with no regrets. Rare indeed. I'm proud and grateful to have called him my friend. He had few. People didn't understand him bcuz of the Asperger's. They just thot he was an asshole. You had to look past that to see the jewel that lay beneath the gruff exterior.

My son was diagnosed with this form of autism when he was a senior in high school. He`s getting a little better communicating with people but he still has along way to go. Sorry to hear about your friend the Colonel. Condolences to his family and friends.

Rest easy, Colonel. Save me a seat on the rail in heaven! My deeptest sympathies go out to his loved ones, family, and friends.

It's a shame it took them that long to give your son a Dx Mike.
Aspies don't understand the subtle nuances of social graces. Societal norms confuse us. It took me years of hard work to get where I am today and i still don't understand the 'dance', as we call it.
Large groups exhaust me. Asperger's are honest to a fault as we don't understand dishonesty. For any reason. You can imagine how that causes problems, being labelled anti social and without empathy.
