i think he started out playing pool. i guess belgium is most known for billiards though, don't know if he plays that.

belgium is basically two countries masquerading as one, luca is from the dutch part. with part italian heritage (like ronnie)

i won’t remember where i saw this but a few years ago, maybe three, steve davis made the comment that of the three ‘92ers’ that higgins would have the most ‘longevity’ because he’s more of just a normal person, while both o’sullivan and williams are kinda far out and kooky

I’m pretty sure he said Higgins would be the first to retire because he’s the sanest….Mark and Ronnie are weird.

Understanding the difference in the chalk is a factor. Laying it on in cakes is the culprit. The habit of grooming the tip while assessment of the table gives inadequate attention to a thin consistent layer of chalk. Cakng is the result that leaves tracks on the table.
I use triangle chalk and have developed the habit of applying chalk as I give it attention. THEN I look at the table and balls. My table appreciates the habit.

this is the best semi line up in many years (if you like fast, attacking snooker). i think this year is ronnie's only chance for #8. but trump will win
