World Pool Championships 2025, July 21-26, Jeddah

Surprising for sure but, given the usual promptness on Matchroom live for displaying the draw at the majors, one must guess that the draw has yet to occur.

Are we still waiting for the list of who plays who? Today is the 19th, and the event begins on the 21st. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it is available. It's really cool to see so many countries represented. Yay for pool on a global scale!

These odds are, to me, odd. They do not reflect who is playing well in 2025. Yapp, to me, who absolutely dominated at the UK Open, is one of the favorites, and guys like Souto, Labutis, and Neuhausen have shown consistently good form year to date. Kaci won the WNT event in Boston and Feijen won the WNT event at Super Billiards Expo. Finally, I'd give Ko Ping Chung a better chance than Ko Pin Yi to win here.

If I were a man who bet on pool ... but I'm not.
