Man, pool halls are dangerous

where, and in what century, does this take place?

A common designation to indicate going into disputed territory in vietnam among other places. I have heard the term used to describe hostile territory in the mideast too. Wasn't an uncommon term in the old westerns I was and am a fan of. "Indian Country" is hostile territory. The designation has been being used from at least the eighteen hundreds to today. This originated in the last century or before and proceeded into this one. All of NO and much of the surrounding area was "Indian Country". I can also say the term started in the last millennium and continues in use in this one.

A chuckle, I was often mistaken for an American Indian and got along great with the peoples of the Southwest for the most part. There is one tribe that is still extremely hostile to anyone but purebloods. They publicly ran all halfbreeds off of the reservation a few decades ago. That reservation was and is "Indian Country". A threat to life and limb to enter it and it isn't marked off in any manner on much of it's perimeter. Enter at your own peril! Trespass and you may find you entered the old west.

ah you meant figuratively. don't think i've heard that before. our indigenous people over here are mostly into DEI / woke stuff and tiktok

in that video the men were wearing official clothes and vests and hair cuts. most likely police or military doing the work.

only win the is to fall and play dead hoping they don't put security shots into each one.

Someone we both know went to the doctor. When the doctor told him to lay down a Glock hit the floor. The patient apologized, picked up the glocko, tried to lay down and it hit the floor again. He went to put it back and the doc told him to just lay it on the counter until the exam was over!

Hu
That's hilarious Hu, it sounds like he had a good doctor. I doubt there are many that would react in that manner that's crazy man.!!!! (y)

Good guess but I wouldn't be caught dead with a Glock. I carry whatever is handy for day to day usage, if headed into Indian country I carry a Humodified Colt Commander in .45. I'm confident I can run that thing dry before somebody falls.

I conceal carried for approximately 40 years and I carry the same pistol never changed it up. I carried a Walther PPK 380 auto nickel plated, I like the size of it. Because one could tell I was carrying when I carried that weapon. I had a simple philosophy for conceal carry never pull a gun. Never let anyone see the gun unless you're gonna shoot someone. Mid 1990s in a restaurant in Tacoma Washington I was faced with a situation where I had to pull my gun. My wife and I were having dinner when a very large guy came into the restaurant and stabbed the customer three tables down from us, and I clearly saw the whole thing.

I jumped up and immediately told him to stop, at that point, the guy started coming after me. Again I told him to stop twice but he just kept coming, so I double tapped his ass dead center of mass. To make a longer story short, the prosecutor for Tacoma Washington decided after viewing video and witness statements that I was justified in shooting this guy so no charges were pressed against me. Approximately a month later, I went down to the Tacoma police station and picked up my pistol. That's the end of the story. 😎

craig lucky it was then and in tacoma, and not now in seattle. good for you.

but most would do best to stay out of it, if possible, as your loved ones can lose if you do.

especially nowadays some have a vest under their shirt.

the mini 9,s are so much smaller and more powerful and easy to conceal. a big plus.

ccw's are not valid on reservations. they make their own laws and rules.

Reservations operate under three or four sets of laws and regulations as I'm sure you know. Too, you are likely to run into things enforced a lot differently in the tourist trap part of a reservation and the dirt poor "real" part of the reservation. Tribes where a few got bucketfuls of money from casinos and such and the rest of the tribe didn't get crap annoy me. Some live in what have to be described as luxurious lifestyles while others are lacking running water and electricity a mile away.

I like that same size, big enough for accuracy and control. I have some Kel-Tecs too but those are just drop in your pocket and forget them guns. They aren't what I would care for in a gunfight but a whole lot better than nothing.

I certainly don't recommend shooting someone like I did, however, it seemed like the right thing to do at the moment. I realize the consequences of my actions and what could've happened under different circumstances. But in the end, the guy that was stabbed, survived his wounds the guy that I shot died that day. I don't feel guilty about it at all and if confronted with the same situation, I probably would react the same way today. I don't see the use in carrying a concealed weapon, unless you're gonna use it for the right reasons if confronted with them. I have often wondered how many people may have been carrying concealed when a mass shooting occurred. I think if more people did use their weapon, some of these mass shootings could be prevented. Because let's face it the police will not always be there when you need them so sometimes you have to take things into your own hands.

That 380 auto has all the fire power I need. I use standard hollow point rounds with a standard load, nothing special nothing fancy. Like I said HU, that's all the fire power I need for protection a 380 will get the job done.

Anytime you have to fire your weapon, or determined it was necessary based on the threat level, it can become
a long drawn out affair. The circumstances decide whether reasonable force was used. If you follow threat level
escalation, which can happen really fast, you should be on solid ground. Just remember your version of the facts
can sometimes be different from the eye witness versions obtained by the police during their investigation. It is
therefore always smart to never answers questions by the police without a lawyer and simply stating such is all
that’s required. The police will understand your reasons why but if they don’t, tell them to go pound sand.

Any comment you make will be dissected and analyzed regardless of how innocent you are. Since this instantly transformed into deciding if the shooting was justified as soon as you squeezed the trigger, from that moment on all your answers should be guided by the advice of your counsel.

Hiring a lawyer will be very expensive if you were ever charged with a crime or any subsequent legal suits. This can
run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. There is insurance available that’s affordable that is accessible 24/7/365.

There is 24 hr. support and a team of 1200 lawyers nationwide to immediately step forth to represent you. You can designate one as your attorney of choice or use whomever gets assigned to your case. You never pay a red cent, even if it involved an decision appeal. If you required to post a bond to be released by the police, it is included in this service.

Every CCW holder should belong. For less than $40/mth, you are legally and financially protected if you were involved in a shooting. It even covers you if you were walking your dog and your pet bit an attacker or anyone that threatened you. Your legal representation is included with this coverage. The police will likely confiscate your gun but this program will either have your gun returned or give you full replacement value. I hope never to draw my gun as protection or heaven forbid, shoot someone like was earlier described. But I am represented by a legal team of experts that specialize in gun shootings and self defense assertions. It means I have the best legal representation if I ever needed it.

Do yourself a favor if you are a gun owner or carry one. Make sure you are insured and your insurance covers you.
Remember that your home owners insurance policy doesn’t cover you except for property loss if you obtain a rider
for you guns. Home owners insurance will not represent you, offer to hire a lawyer or offer any legal tips or any advice.

So be prepared for the unknown. If it happens, don’t panic or worry. This won’t cost you a cent for the best legal team.
Yes, you will be buying insurance so there’s a cost for coverage. It costs me $1.30/day ($39/mth). I spend more than that just on ammo replenishment monthly. I have car insurance because it’s required but I carry more than the minimum just in case I had an accident. I never intend to cause an accident but I don’t have to cause an accident to find myself involved in it.

Guess what…….pull your gun, you already are in dangerous waters. Use it and you had better be on the lookout for possible sharks even when you believe you had no other option, including less lethal than everyone should also carry. Well, if I ever find myself in that predicament, it only takes one phone call and I have a legal team to immediately step in to represent me at no additional cost to me other than my membership. Don’t ever believe it won’t happen to me. It absolutely could.

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it. However, I didn't even need a lawyer. They never held me after the shooting. They processed me and released me. I think that was mainly due to the witness statements and to the video from the cameras in the location, it was really clear this guy had a knife. He stabbed somebody, I told him to stop with the knife in his hand, he came at me. I told him to stop twice, and that was the end of the story. Basically the police believed me and the guy turned out to be a felon that had a long, long rap sheet Overall, it was a very easy process, but I do understand under different circumstances I could've really gotten burned
