My First Paul Mottey Cue

I picked up this really nice 2003 Mottey in a trade with my friend Kenney Tran. I have had several of James White's cues, but this is my first Mottey. Based on the date I would imagine James had his hands in the build. It is a beautiful Hoppe style with Snakewood points and butt sleeve. Everything white on the cue is natural. Plays great and I can't believe after buying and selling cues for over 35 years I hadn't managed to have ever owned a Mottey cue in the past.

Please enjoy the pictures and share pictures of your Mottey cues if you have one.

Thanks
-don

Beautiful Mottey Don. Congrats on getting it. I`ve never hit with 1, but always have heard great things about them.
Between Paul & James, you can`t go wrong with either. Thanks for sharing your pics. Have a great wkd sir.

Thanks the kind words, I have played four one pocket sessions with it and it has great feel and action off the tip. Better than I expected. :-)

Nice!
I still don't have one. I used to live near his shop and visited several times. I will always regret not having him build me a cue.

Thanks for showing off!
