Diamond Professional Delivery Time

Have you considered a Predator table? I hear they break pretty good, probably increase your runout percentage!

Doesn't make sense? Really? How do you know what makes sense for me?

And how do you know it's not as durable a table? Especially considering the fact that only one responsible adult will be playing on it.

It doesn't play like what the pros play on? And how do you know? It's my understanding the Professional will play the same as the ProAm.

And how can you say it's an uglier table than the Gold Crown? I've seen a lot of pics of the Professional and it looks very nice to me.

Just passing along my experience. Enjoy your new table, whichever one you get.

Looks wise they seem cheap but more importantly they list for $500 more then a diamond and the resale value isn’t good. I considered them for a about a minute before buying my diamond but it just didn’t make sense to me once I learned those two things lol

Diamond is going to put him on a list, lol.

Whatever that idiot u12armresl said about me, just ignore it. He does it all the time. He's been doing it for years. I checked with the Mods about him and the Mod even called him an a$$hole.

I disagreed with your post and that was the extent of it. Everybody has a right to opinions. That includes you and me.

Just don't pay any attention to the idiot.

Thats why he was put on ignore a long time a go. Life is to short for the trolls… blocking them is simple.

That's interesting. I've tried to help the guy and gave up on it. If you've read his posts then you see he is only in his own way. Thinking every solution but hard work will get him where he needs to be.

They play WAY better. The bounce is proper. They were set up 5 feet away from Diamond tables at the Expo. The Predator bounced perfectly. The Diamond was like a pin-ball machine. $500 is peanuts when we are talking about 10k range.

It's my understanding by early-mid week next week I will have the new Diamond Professional ordered.

Anybody have any last minute suggestions about this table?

It doesn't really make sense to go from a GC to a Diamond Professional, which is at best, a Gold Crown lookalike. In spite of the model name being "Professional", this table is rarely used outside of homes. It does not ship already put together like a Pro-Am would be, it is not as durable as a Pro-Am or a Gold Crown. I would guess that since it is a rare table it would take longer to ship. But even Diamond probably can't tell you how long their own tables will take to ship.

It is a fine table, don't get me wrong, I had one for years. But if you are expecting something like what the "pros" play on, you might be disappointed. It is not a tank like the Pro-Am. It isn't ugly as the Pro-Am, but it is uglier than a Gold Crown, lol.
I did not like the GC 5 or 6 so I got the Professional. My opinion.. World Class table.

When it gets installed. Keep anything extra that is not on the table when finished… nuts bolts, wood filler pieces that fit under the slate where the pocket is. My installers had extra hex nut bolts. Did not realize they whetr not used where they belonged until the next day or two.
