I believe so but I'm not sure when he officially plans to leave the USA .Isn't he selling his business and moving to the Philippines? I just played with a Gulyassy cue this past weekend and loved it though.

problem is if you want just about any custom your going to have to wait. i'd rather buy used so i can try it a while. If you think I'm going to wait 2 or 3 yrs for a cue ur smoking some good stuff . I don't care who builds the cues, let me know if ur in pro level when you get one. I'll stick with my $700 sneaky Pete and that's even to much lol.
Or maybe someone has a closet queen.problem is if you want just about any custom your going to have to wait. i'd rather buy used so i can try it a while.
that's why i steer people to Cody Cash. Best guy to deal with.Or maybe someone has a closet queen.
I bought a Sly sneaky in 2015. After his bullshit I’m cured from customs.
He's swamped trying to get ready for the big Shoe!!Im trying to get on it. We just emailed a few times and i told him what i was looking for and he gave a few ideas which i liked but then i havent heard from him. I don't have a phone number know any other way to get in contact with him. Im fine waiting a few years because that gives me some time to increases my budget to really get what i want.
Im going to wait a little while longer to see if i hear anything back, if i can wait a few years for a cue then i can wait a little for him to get back to me. I just want to go ahead and get things in motion.Be patient & Josh will get back to you. If you can't do that then just move on to someone else.
I have worked with Josh on a cue, he will treat you right.
I reached out to Sly too but never heard anything back from him. After reading up on some of the problems people had with him i think i just stick to second had when im ready for a Sly.Or maybe someone has a closet queen.

Ill wait a while longer before i reach out to anyone else. Maybe ill try sending another email in a week or two. I dont mind waiting on the cue i just want to know that hes actually going to make it.He's swamped trying to get ready for the big Shoe!!
Wouldn't take it personal. You just picked a bad time to do this. For josh anyway.
Just saying....
He really should this time.Hey ya know what? I think you should report me.![]()
Good decision.Ill wait a while longer before i reach out to anyone else. Maybe ill try sending another email in a week or two. I dont mind waiting on the cue i just want to know that hes actually going to make it.
I think you have been misinformed. Josh is still working. He is now one of USA's best. He apprenticed cuemaking many moons ago under Jim Buss.I heard Treadway retired and quit making cues.....I don't know if that is a fact but I was told that by a person that buys a lot of cues...
Josh has a three year waitist.
Were you already on the list or did you just get on it with that initial conversation?
Because if that was the first conversation then all you got was giving Josh a basic understanding of what you want and being put on his list it's gonna be a while before he calls you back....
Just a suggestion there's always Mike Gulyassy he makes a fine pool cue !
Same thing happen to me with cohen ... I just gave up on itHey everyone,
I recently reached out to Josh Treadway to order a custom pool cue, and after our initial conversation I haven’t heard anything back in nearly a month. For anyone who’s worked with Josh, is this level of delay typical in his process?
Also, if this kind of responsiveness isn’t common, could anyone recommend cue makers who are more communicative throughout the build process?
Thanks in advance for your help.
He quit emailing me back. Kind hard to let him know when he's not responding.
Hit about like anything else?? Leather Tip tapping phenolic ... Custom cues are pretty over ratedYeah, but they are very expensive. His cues hit amazing though, in my experience. Does not hurt that he is / was a Pro player too.
Not to my knowledge. Josh is a local boy still making damn nice cues.I heard Treadway retired and quit making cues.....I don't know if that is a fact but I was told that by a person that buys a lot of cues...
