Planning My Gold Crown VII Purchase

IMO, that was a design flaw. There should have been a locating feature molded/extruded into the rubber, and a mating one cut into the rail. IDK why cushions aren't made this way.
That would require all table manufacturers to have the exact same rail design and dimensions.

I suspect it is tradition and a long time ago all table mechanics knew their job. An index bump wasn't needed. You also see a lot of tables with gaps and misalignments at the corner pockets. Those should be foolproof for re-assembly. I think good design for maintenance is hard.
Car makers pass that on to the buyer.

I understand the first wave of the new Gold Crown VII is already sold out.

Anybody play on one yet? If so have any feedback?

Or does anybody anticipate being able to play on one in the near future?

What's the deal here???

I read where the first wave of the Gold Crown VII is already sold out. So I've asked if anybody has played on one hoping for feedback.

What in blue blazes is wrong with that???

Is Brunswick still part of the billiard community? I get that they make tables, but you just don’t hear anything about them anymore. I don’t see them sponsoring any pool events or pool players like they used to. I don’t see any of their tables in any pools rooms other than older ones from decades ago.

They are sponsoring the Ultimate Pool USA stuff pretty hard. It's good to see.

your posts are so ridiculous and annoying that everyone thinks you’re joking

if you aren’t joking, call your family

if this is really all about your sad breaking,
i hope the cold rain doesn’t leak into your boots and make you cry yourself to sleep here on the eve of your cousin crushing you at chess again- you’ll have to ask santa for three or four new chess boards that will give you a better chance to win- and we all know that santa is sometimes unreliable?

Did you follow the story of them being sold off to a private equity firm and later being sold to Escalade? I think the current owners see the value of advertising.

I recommend looking for the right GCIV Tournament Edition. Maybe piano black or something really sharp. Pockets could be 4.75", and it was the best GC of the past, although I haven't played on the new ones. You could spend the extra $8500 on something else. I get I'm not telling you something you don't already know.

He already has a gc4 and I believe it was improved by a good mechanic.
