I have multiple revos and this is the same situation with every single one of them unfortunately.I have a Nitti and a REVO and have never had a problem. Maybe see if Predator will swap shafts for a new one?

I just did his with a predator shaft, radial into a phenolic joint, used chap stick. I'm curious why this works, I wouldn't think phenolic has a whole lot of give to it.When I sent my Revo back to Seyberts to get it to fit my jacoby butt, this is exactly what they did. When I sent it, I was 100% convinced they would just run a tap through it and be done with it. When I talked to them on the phone, they told me they just added some shaft wax to the pin and took it slow screwing in and removing the shaft a little bit at a time. They warned me I might need to do the same due to difference in climate when the cue got back to me.
it doesn't give, the chapstick just acts as a lube.I just did his with a predator shaft, radial into a phenolic joint, used chap stick. I'm curious why this works, I wouldn't think phenolic has a whole lot of give to it.
makes sense I guess, suppose it will tighten up as the chapstick wears off. Seems like running a tap through it would be a more permanent solution.it doesn't give, the chapstick just acts as a lube.
Threads to not work by having "friction" !
- you will have to do this many times over as the radial pin is designed to be a high friction thread anyway.
Threads absolutely do create concentricity. We've all had hundreds of non-piloted cues in our hands over the years. They all close the joint the same way each time....snip...
Also, Threads do not create concentricity !
Concentricity is created by a pilot or tenon or register.
The Radial pins you buy from Uni-loc corp. Does not have a logo like you find on Predator cues.Does your radial pin on your nitti have the same uniloc logo on it like the predator does? There is radial and uni loc radial from what I have read.
