You don't think you need to reinvent the game. Just play six ball maybe race to four or five. Something funny I did a ladies tournament 6 ball one time. For the fun of it before it started I said any six balls on the break you get an instant $25. Holy Christ, they made it like eight times. What do you think?
End of 1st round....1/2 the rooms tables open up.
Finals at sunset.
All players in, start each round at the exact same time.
It's really 4 ball, lol. If people enjoy that, they should play. What do you think?

I'd break from the side driving the one into either the two or the three depending on which side you break from. 9 is going to really go flying. Also that money doesn't add up looks like they're keeping an awful lot of money.![]()
Anyone got tips on breaking this?

I think that "Full Field Payout" does not mean that everyone gets money back. I think it means that if the field is full, these are the top (or maybe only) payouts. I think the house is going to keep the remaining $340. Maybe $40 each for the next four and the house keeps $180.After the announced payouts there's only $340 left for the remaining 28 players - don't see how they are keeping much at all since all those other folks apparently get something.

$10.60 cents per player overhead, & that includes table time.I'd break from the side driving the one into either the two or the three depending on which side you break from. 9 is going to really go flying. Also that money doesn't add up looks like they're keeping an awful lot of money.

Evidently it's not single elimination since 3-4 play off with $50 in the middle.
I would start from the side and hit the one ball full. note where the wing balls go. Move the cue ball to the other side and to the center in subsequent breaks, searching for something dead, but always play the one ball full. Unless they use a template, you will need to deal with the gaps.Anyone got tips on breaking this? ....
