Pagulyan Carbon Fiber shaft?

He also sells a new case
good for him, he is in a point of his career that he won't make a lot of money from playing pool but his brand is still strong to sell products.
His chalk is good and so are the socks he sent me with the chalk...
I also got his glove but haven't tried it yet, I got a bunch of different gloves waiting for their turn...
That case looks nice.
No way in hell I would pay for that shaft. The only high $$ shaft that would get my money is Revo (after testing and owning a few brands)

I'm pretty sure someone else is running the business and just use his brand name, at max he probably has 20% of stake.

Price an unknown no name shaft at $800 is crazy though, Predator don't even do that yet

His ad says "unlike hollow or overly thin designs....". That means to me it will squirt much more than a Revo, or even a 314.

Pristine™ carbon fiber pool cue shafts are built for players who demand more than low deflection alone. Boutique built in Canada, this limited production carbon fiber shaft is engineered to deliver the connected, authentic feel players expect from tight-grain maple—without sacrificing the consistency and stability of modern materials.

Unlike hollow or overly thin designs, Pristine™ controls deflection through balanced mass distribution and vibration management, creating a quieter, more confident hit. Offered in multiple tip diameters on the same purpose-built taper, Pristine™ is trusted by serious players seeking one of the best carbon fiber pool cue shafts available today.

$800 for JUST the shaft? It doesn't come with a butt? That's crazy.
Crazy? Or does Alex know his customer base?

Anyone at the Derby hit with Alex's new carbonfiber shaft? In his booth for people to hit with it. Would love to hear feedback since its $800.00?
I'm thinking he is just a little late to the mkt. The mkt seems to be so saturated with cf shafts, most already have one, and i can probably say i don't believe they hit any better. A different Tip and a vault plate might soften or harden the hit . However. The old saying goes "It's not the arrow but the indian" Think about someone that plays fluently they can play with anything and on any table

I sell the chalk and it's a good chalk for sure. Since I last placed an order they have introduced a slew of new products, some are obvious rebranding of existing products and some feel very tongue in cheek, like the "butt wipe" and the boxer shorts..
As far as the shaft go, I think @epoxypop is spot on, it's a crowded market and even though Pagulayan has name recognition, the $800 price is high.
That's generally higher than the well known brands today like Revo, Ignite, Triple 60 etc.
The marketing pitch sound as professional as any other brand out there, but the "feels like maple" claim just isn't true. I don't care how you build your carbon fibre shaft (and I have made quite a few..) they never feel like a wood shaft.
