That was my first stop.If you go on YouTube and do a search on 'ticky billiards' you will find a number of instructional videos on tickies.
I was having ticky problems in cases where the ball was more than a couple of ball widths from the cushion and Dave Gross aka @12squared showed me a way to determine the proper aiming point. Unfortunately I'm old and haven't been able to play for a couple of years and I forgot what it was, so I'm hoping that Dave sees this and tells us.That was my first stop.

The actual line of the mirror system depends on how you hit the cue ball. A soft roller has a different aim that a firm stun shot.Wouldn’t you just use the mirror system?
