I’m trying to purchase a cue from user gregcantrall. Has anyone had any dealings with him?

He sent pics of the cue but says for security reasons he can’t FaceTime. His PayPal request for funds came from a name of:

OLASUNKANMI MICHAEL AJAY

No idea whom he is. Get him to write a detailed bill of sale describing the cue, its condition and disclose any flaws that’s cosmetic or affected how it plays, ex., cue butt, shafts or assembled cue isn’t straight, cracked ferrule, etc.

That’s important because you was to repeat this in your message you send the seller paying for the purchase of goods.
Be sure he sends you a complete description of the cue in his Pay Pal invoice so you can get a refund if the cue is not as described. That’s why you need the seller to warrant the cue is straight and mention any nicks, dents, scuffs, chips, or any other flaws the cue could have. Nowadays you must be careful; if the seller hesitates, don’t buy the cue.

if its the same greg and you arent getting scammed. he has been around for much longer than youve been alive and has a good rep.
he also is from the pacific northwest so that may help with where the package would come from.

check his posts and you can then see his ugly face in the pic.

Lots of scam stories, been posted lately be careful. I would find one his threads. Send him a direct message.
He is a frequent poster.

My advice would be to send Greg a PM, or ask @azhousepro to communicate with Greg via email.
Unfortunately, the world is rife with scammers.
Best regards.

Evidently @gregcantrall has had his account hacked.

Have you exchanged PMs with him?

How did you find out about his cue? He does not sell here according to this post he made:

He sent me an email this morning. Thank you to all of you for your input. I put a request in for a Dani Sanchez Ebony CRM and he responded saying he had one.

Ah yeah, for sure a scam then. It's a common one: find the users email (many users unfortunately share this info directly on a post in the for sale section) and send a message like "I'm Bob Jewett and I have that exact Southwest you were looking for. I'll sell it to you for $800".

Anytime you are looking for a certain cue and announce it....you are just looking to get scammed.

Besides that guys are dumping cracked, warped and otherwise damaged goods. It just ain't worth the headaches.

People need to to use password managers and stronger passwords. 9 times out of 10, you weren't "hacked", someone guessed your shitty password and got control of your account.
Something like this for a forum or site that doesn't allow high ANSI: aKXk9eZFIE2xtoa|
Something like this for online banking, etc.: ¥GPc¼ïTW½nðÏOÁ?ê/«SË
Those are NOT getting "hacked".

In this case I don't think Greg got hacked. Someone is just using his name with a made up email address, not an AZB account, and emailing random WTB forum users with "I have what you are looking for, my name is Greg on AZB".
