I'm guessing a import too, probably made by either KaoKao or KaoFa. Something about the sleeve looks off on the top one, the notched diamonds should be centered, cue may have been broken/fixed. AZ'r Joe Lolley used to sell his 'BamaCues' line that were very similar to these. They were very nice imports.

I think I have seen them both.

The first one is nice. I like it.

"High value" when you consider the work that goes into them.

If you're into a fancy cue and don't have much money it's an option.

Most people aren't terribly serious about pool and cues anyway, and honestly you could do well with a cue like that.

I think the first one is an Adam but I am not positive. The 2nd cue maybe an Adam but I am just guessing on that one. If it is a cheap import, it is the nicest one I have ever seen. Extremely well made, dead straight, with perfect inlays, clean sharp points, and you cant feel the rings. I haven't ruled that out but it seems way to nice.

Cheap?

High value is what I had said.

As garczar said, most likely Kao.

Adam did collaborate with Kao. I posted about that recently.

Kao did and does make "nice" cues.

It is what it is.

What are you looking to do? Play them? Sell them?

I plan on just keeping them I like how they look. Thanks for the info, I just looked at the Kao cues and I am 100% positive it is not one of those. There was not 1 single thing about their designs that was similar. Every feature was different. Joints, points, buts, but caps, bumpers, and overall styling, all different. I am about 80% certain the first cue is an Adam. The 2nd cue though, I have my doubts.

this might up your percentage a bit.

These guys know what they are talking about. They have seen a billion cues over the years, and been here for ages.

I can tell you, with certainty, that neither of those cues are Adam cues. Most Adam cues would have higher precision, with their inlay work, I believe.

On the 2nd cue for example, the points are very uneven. On the 1st cue, the inlays do not look very good. Not very straight. Not very well done.

I believe that Adam, for the most part, always made a much higher quality cue, then what I see in these pics.

Plus, the rubber bumpers are wrong (I believe) for Adam cues. At least, the ones from Japan.

There is also the chance that I am just making myself look like a fool, yet again, lol.

The more I think about it, I do know that some of the Chinese made Adam cues, like the late 90's Helmstetter cues, for example, had lop sided inlays, and uneven points, and some of the Adam cues from the 70's, that I have seen, had lop sided (not perfectly straight) inlays.

So, I understand that Adam cues did not always look that good, with their inlay work, and Point work, but the ones from Japan, that I know of, have always looked very high quality. Like the 86, and 87 Series Helmstetter cues, for example. Very nice work, they did on them.

You are being fooled by the photos. On both cues the inlays are very clean and perfect. No visible fillers and they are straight. The first cue looks like a custom builder or Adam to me. I was hoping somebody had the same cue or a catalog pic. The 2nd cue is the one more in question for me. I based my Koa opinion on the cues on their site. If they build for other brands than this is a possibility.

I think the one in the last pic, with the uneven points looks nice. I see some nice figured BEM in the forearm. Those uneven points looks horrible to me though. And, the inlays in one of the points, from a pic of the other cue, do not look very good to me. They look a little lop sided. A Japanese Made Adam cue would look a lot better. More perfectly aligned with everything.
