Bay Shore Billiards - Long Island, NY

I just went and hit balls at a place called Bay Shore Billiards in Long Island. If I lived around here, that would be my go-to spot! Several new Gold Crown VII tables, and the rest Diamonds. I even ran into Steve Kurtz and got to catch up a bit after not seeing him for probably 15 years! If you're ever around Long Island, check it out.

That’s where I play when in the area. 1P in NY is real hard to come by, but I do need work on rotation pool. I also love to watch the 3C players

I would love to make it out there one day but for now, the furthest I will ever go into long island for pool is Raxx and that's mainly because I have family there. And even getting to Raxx is a long trip as it is.

I originally planned on going to Raxx instead because it's the only one I had heard of. Glad I did a google search!

Raxx does have great equipment though! And the bar across the street (Point Break) is a good pool bar.

They were nice! You can tell the owner keeps them in good shape. Pockets were a bit more generous than I am used to so I felt like a stud!

The Cue Bar, a little north and west of there looks like a nice place also.

I know what you mean. Last time I looked my table was second easiest on Dr. Dave's list in the sticky post.

Thanks for the great review Eric, and if it hadn’t been for your name on you shirt I wouldn’t have even known it was you.mgreat tomsee you again since all the years of the madness of the SBE 14.1 Challenge. I think you’d fit in quite well here as a regular.

Yes, nice tables and they have decent specials if I remember correctly.
