Sorry to post this here but I need to vent. I bought a new to me p3 on eBay last wednesday. Great seller! Quick communication and shipped it within a few hours. I was scheduled to get it Friday. It didn’t show..since then nothing. You call them and they say it’s still on the way and they’ve opened a case on it and I’ll hear from someone .. crickets. The only thing it’s showing is it left the initial place it was shipped from which by the way is only 2 hours a way. If my wife wouldn’t have had doctor appointments the day I bought it I would have road tripped to get it but I just had to much going on that day. When I use Ups or amazon you get details .. hell Amazon I can see where the truck is driving it’s on but the usps nothing. It doesn’t help I’m terrible at waiting for things 😂. How you people order a cue and wait a couple years is beyond me

I've had a few shipments from USPS arrive days later than expected. Won't be using them anymore, not reliable at all.
The fact that when they call they seem to have no idea where your package is or when it will arrive is insane in today’s world. Again It’s only coming from about 2 hours away… you would think it was coming from California lol

I don’t think it’s a secret that the USPS has the worst service for parcels.
Why would anyone send a cue using USPS.
I know.. I bought it on eBay and wasn’t given a choice. The guy gave me a tracking number within the hour. I remember back int he day when they had 2 to 3 day priority mail and it was fantastic

I shipped something recently by USPS and it took a month to arrive. It literally toured the whole country before it finally arrived. My local post office told me that large packages are done by hand and not automated like the other mail. Too much human error. I now use FedEx for any large packages. Never going through that again.

I cringe when I buy something substantial and it is shipped via USPS.

I used to deliver to one of the major hubs in Louisville, Ky. Not one of my favorite stops!

Unfortunately the USPS has become a union based, government protected "business" that loses billions of dollars each year and faces no repercussions for its poor service.

I've had those same experiences with UPS. In my cases the difference with UPS and USPS have been this:

USPS just recently told my wife they weren't sure where a package was when she asked but they were sure it made it to OKC, which is about 40 miles from me, and it was going to Chicago. There was no info on the tracker at all. They really had no idea where it was. It did arrive, just late.

UPS will have all kinds of info on the tracker...Out for delivery....attempted delivery....weather emergency delayed delivery..for 17 straight days the tracker said it was out for delivery, all complete lies. No delivery was ever attempted. We both work from home.

So one company is full of inept people and one is full of lying pieces of shit.

I've had very similar experiences. As I live in the UK, when shipping to the USA using the regular postal service things usually go fine at this end but once USPS gets involved it goes down hill rapidly. No updates and parcels go missing for days / weeks on end. Fortunately they have never lost anything.

While I am sorry to the OP.

The USPS lost its own way long ago. They’ve never had an effective tracking system for their shipments or their money orders.

They have a long reputation of being the worst shipping business in the country.

Hope your package arrives soon!

USPS has also apparently lost track of the Meucci 84-4 I bought. Should have arrived Saturday.
Their tracking system often indicates a container scan. They scan a large shipping container to track everything that "should" be in the container. It doesn't necessarily mean they scanned the actual item, and doesn't mean the item actually made it into the container at the previous facility.

Unionized Employees who mandate do not care. Had a Laser Pain Control Unit deliver to me YESTERDAY, Box Said Fragile, USPS threw over wall to my backyard. Never rang my doorbell.

USPS is loosing money, they are diving and do not care.

Where can you find a 1000 Black & White loafers?..... (hint..not a shoe store)

Answer...Post Office

I NEVER use USPS, after too many horror stories. Now I only use UPS or FEDEX (both have served me well).

Our mail carrier just mis-delivered some boots for me to a neighbor's house. While that was unfortunate, the device he used to scan the package on delivery had the exact geolocation position when he scanned it. It showed two doors away from us, and we were able to contact that neighbor and get the package. It was an insured package, which means they scan it every time it moves. Maybe that's the key, to send it insured.

I've shipped and received cues many times using UPS, FedEx, and USPS and they all seem about the same. Usually everything is fine, but occasionally there is a problem. It's frustrating when that happens, but I don't think any one of the three is better than the others. Never DHL though, we're not savages.
