Check out this foul that everyone at the table missed

I don't think that the commentator needed to intervene, it's not his place. It's a referee mistake for not calling it and I don't think one can call a foul once play has been continued (a full rack was played), this was totally a sharking move on Tani, she lost it from there on.

This match just finished but check this out this great safe followed with worst mistake ever

Saw Efren in a match decades a good do a slight scoop jump shot to pocket a ball about 7 feet away, not even the announces caught it. Definitely a foul, but no ref called it.

Jasmin called foul on herself so no debate there, but man, shooting that 8 was crazy…

I disagree with the ref's call that it was a foul. After viewing a few times at half speed, Jasmin's shot on the one appeared to hit the remaining solid and stripe balls simultaneously. But the ref's call was the ref's call. That's part of the game. Sometimes the call is very close and the human ref does the best they can.

The scorekeeping error absolutely needed to be corrected. It wasn't an in-game error, it was an administrative error. It was completely irrelevant that play had already continued. It shouldn't have required an announcer to step in, but someone needed to do so.

It’s about 35 minutes in.

I think the ref started the whole problem. I think he forgot Jasmin was solids, which is why he called her good kick on the 1b a foul. He might have even said something like “foul, hit the one ball”, but even if not it just calling it a foul probably confused the players.

Either way, yeah very bizarre.

What’s your source for that? I couldn’t hear it on the video.

I went back and screen recorded it and it’s extremely close. I cannot see which ball moves first, but the CB path seems to show it going away from the pocket immediately after the hit, which I think means 1b first.
