I am on the North end of Flathead lake

A while back I met a guy in the pool hall to pick up a cue I bought. He showed me his Bob Owen cue that was sort of fishing themed. I told him it combined my two favorite things. Not much better than being on the water. I love pool but it can't compete with nature.

Took the sportscar out for a drive this morning to raise my spirits after getting owned in league last night in 8, after playing great and winning in 9. Eight-ball is my Kryptonite when playing stronger players. I fall apart and lose spectacularly.

Not to much after it reached 100 here AGAIN in the high desert.
Worked on the yard, had am coffee watched the birds and occasional flocks of geese heading to the AK river, but nothing like living on a lake in WI or where your at in Montana in the morning, throwin' a line.
To one up you, my daughter/husband and 3 grand kids just flew to Alaska for two weeks of salmon fishin' and possibly on the ocean/halibut, wish I was eating that good.
Thx OP for the nice inland lake pic.... looks like the wind hasn't picked up yet.

Dang man! That looks like heaven!

I bet the Mepps spinner has caught more species of fish than almost anything else. I hear that Flathead Lake is the largest natural lake in the western U.S. and one of the clearest with depths reaching over 300 ft. Love me a Williams Wobbler in silver and blue in clear water.

What are you fishing’ out of? I thought for a second you were cruisin’ in a belly boat.

Hope those pleasure cruisers in the distance didn’t disturb you.

May all your bumps be bites, your hook sets firm, and your beer ice cold.
Cheers to you and FISH ON!
