Figured BEM handle, on a Players PureX pool cue. Real, or Fake / Decal / Graphic Overlay?

Ha, I have my proof now, lol. It is not a Decal cue. The cue was made with all real woods, real points, and real maple veneers.

That says nothing about the points being real. You don’t get real points in a players cue. That’s why they are so cheap. Your getting what you pay for and it’s fine.. they don’t play bad.. they are what they are

An ugly cue that plays lights out in the hands of its owner is still a cue that plays lights out in the hands of its owner. I'm not saying your cue is ugly. I'm just suggesting you think more about its utility value than its construction materials.

I think the quality of the butt is very good, other then all of the Decal stuff. Without a really good shaft, but butt is meaningless. I once had this Spider Web custom, made by a cue maker named Billy Webb. It was a pretty high end custom, and really beautiful, I thought. Had Butterfly points, inside of longer regular points and veneers. No Decals in that cue lol, but wow, it was the biggest POS hitting cue I ever played with in my life. Worse then you could ever imagine. I know, you are thinking that it was just me, but no, it hit like Garbage to a very good fellow pool player who I actually traded for it, lol. Point being, all it needed was a really good shaft replacement, and then it was as good as gold.

My guess is decals.

I thought what looked like Maple veneers, looked real. The Maple, in the points are the stand out.

What appeared to be Maple veneers to me, looked very real. Chris did an amazing job explaining to me about why this is a Decal cue though.

He told me that the Maple is probably real, but the entire design going over it is a Decal.

This figured Maple, in the handle looks so real to me though. I don't think you get this in a typical Players cue. Unless this too is just a Decal, lol..

I admitted that I was wrong. Chris was really nice about explaining it to me. I still believe the very nicely figured BEM Handle to be real though.
