To be fair, I suspect a lot of people...Who cares? Seriously, who buys table cloth thinking, "Gee, i wonder how this stuff will handle getting wet". I'll tell you: nobody. This outfit is the same bunch that rated a CaliforniaHouse table as the best buy, C'mon man, who are they trying to kid.
As I said above, you need to do that with beer.I did my own test ...
The day after Buffalo installed new 860HR a few chumps spilled beer all over the table. Buff brought in a carpet cleaner to try and clean it. They got most of it out. Are you sure HR is Teflon coated? I would have thought it would play much faster with Teflon."Felt"?!?
I wonder why they didn't use 860HR which is a teflon-coated cloth. Seems like an unfair test.
Simonis makes a specifically "water resistant" cloth for outdoor use.
I think a lot of rooms are interested in cloth that can be cleaned up after beer spills. Maybe test with beer next time.
Well, I could swear I saw something on the Simonis site about about Teflon, but evidently they do not use it in the HR cloth. They say they get stain resistance with a tighter weave. Teflon is mentioned as being in Simonis cloths in old posts on other sites such as here and Reddit. The day after Buffalo installed new 860HR a few chumps spilled beer all over the table. Ya'll seriously get raged so easily. We are a home entertainment furniture company. If you paid attention to that video you just referenced, you'd know we were rating the best table from the tables WE specifically installed/reviewed last year. We're not saying serious pool players should be going for the fancy furniture piece pool table over the ones that promote tournament level play.Who cares?
