Where do I hit the Q ball to make this down to the bottom left hand corner

If “lower left” means the corner pocket diagonally opposite the nearby corner pocket, hit it with low left to bank off the nearby short cushion (on the right side of the pic). Left puts transferred right spin on the OB to turn the bank and draw prevents the CB from following and interfering with the bank. Maybe jack up to avoid cue interference.

if you shoot it in any gambling match or when a ref. isnt present, no or few players will allow it and call a foul. so before you shoot explain what you are going to do.

and the ball is dead on of course.
When the two balls are touching, you cannot push through a ball. It’s a foul …

Yes you can.

No it's not.

At least under the more universal WPA or CSI rule sets... although I imagine there may be some weird little local or league rule sets that don't follow the more generally accepted rules.

At Derby City, you can shoot into a frozen ball but you have to jack up to about 45 degrees. And they don't have to be frozen.

It's too bad @SHORTY WRIGHT didn't explain we were playing by bar rules.

Which ball do you want to get to the lower left? The cue ball? Does the object ball have to go in somewhere?

The "lower left" is diagonally opposite the corner pocket we can see to the right.

To make the object ball in the obvious pocket and get the cue ball to the lower left corner, you could use a masse shot. Or, use a level cue and point the stick about a ball to the right of the pocket where the OB is going.
You said it better than I did.👍🏻
