Biggest problem is they are remote and not in the same room. Very hard to govern the flow of commentary when you doing it that way, IMO.
Too many misses by Filler!
i agree with jay's sentiment in general. this is low budget comms, especially for a men's WC.. but erik is the best among them
Kaci bets racks three on a bank but isn't up to it. Josh misses a difficult 6ball but on the pro side of the pocket. Kaci plays a beautiful safety. Josh makes a jump hit but leaves Kaci a chance to jump in the 6ball. Kaci misses but leaves it tough and the Filler safety fails to snooker. Nice duck up the center by Kaci puts Josh to the test, but he makes an outrageous long bank of the six to wrestle back control of the rack. Shot of the match! Josh runs out to pull within 2-1 in the deciding set. Wow!
Josh breaks dry, leaving Kaci a simple safe. Nice kick by Filler extends the safety battle.Kaci reply leaves the one against the 10ball in quite a difficult position. Filler response is a good one, but leaves Kaci a long, tough chance at the 1ball. Kaci wisely declines the shot in favor of a safety, which he plays very well. Josh gives Kaci a good look at the one, but Kaci must play a safe on the 2ball and he misplays it badly. Josh makes a nice runout and it is 2-2 in the deciding set. OMG, this might end up in a shootout!

it was best of 3 before the L32. i'm fine with it, but the clogged layouts from the side breaks make some matches drawn out. final is also best of 5 i think. i'll miss the final but i'm picking wojciech ftw

I went to bed at 3AM and thought Filler was gonna take the match against Kaci, good job to Kaci for coming back to win against Filler. I thought whoever won that match would win the finals, but I was wrong.

Forgive me. I misread your post. Still, the WPA determines what the sanctioned World Championships are, not me. For now, the complement of sanctioned WPA World championships is:

WPA World Teams Championship
In men's pool, nobody has won all six of these, but Biado, Filler and Appleton have each won four of them.
I always believe that the next generation of pool players will exceed the achievements of the previous one, so I'm not ruling out that, one day, somebody might collect all six of these WPA sanctioned world championships.

Yeah, this final seemed a coin toss on paper, but Szewczyk was a little more consistent than Kaci and was the very deserving winner. Gotta love the unity among the Polish contingent of players. I loved the way they all greeted the champion when the match ended.
At first, this event was a real drag, as far two few matches were played in the early days of the event. Then, however, it got really exciting and delivered some great drama in the final stages. The profile of the World 10ball continues to rise, and a great tradition is being built before our very eyes.
Congratulations to the 2026 champion! Thanks to Predator for a great event.
I thought for sure Szewczyk was going to get weird on that last combo.
