There are six different events and more if you count the different Junior divisions.

(Thursday, the 26th, is Turkey Day. Friday, the 27th, is the first day of Mosconi Cup play in Orlando.)

The events are;
Nov. 23-25 World Junior 9-Ball Championships
Nov. 23-28 Pro Men's 10-Ball Open
Nov. 23-28 Pro Mixed Doubles 10-Ball Open
Nov. 24-28 Pro Women's 10-Ball Open
Nov. 25-27 World Junior 10-Ball Championships
Nov. 26-28 Wheelchair Open 9-Ball

On the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 24, starting at 4:30, is the BCA dinner and ceremony for the Hall of Fame inductions of Corey Deuel, Barry Behrman, and Billy Incardona. Tickets are $90.

The title sponsor of the Men's and Women's Opens is something called "Little Monster". Any idea what that is?

Admission is free. Location is the Grand Hyatt, San Antonio Riverwalk, 600 E Market St, San Antonio, TX 78205, USA

The entries are listed on the website: https://probilliardseries.com/events/

Unfortunate clash in the schedule with the Mosconi Cup, 11/27-30, meaning that many of the most elite won't be there.

Even so, this should be a good event. Nice lineup of events for sure.

Going up against the Mosconi is commercial suicide.

What exactly are Predator/PBS trying to achieve?
I'd venture a guess that Predator's event was scheduled first. The Mosconi is, typically, a week later than this. The 2025 Mosconi Cup took place from 12/3-6, so many, myself included and possibly Predator, were surprised by the timing here and expected the Mosconi a week later.

They make less expensive Carbon Fiber cues. I don’t know how good the playing cues are, but the break and jump cues seem to be decent for the price.

Even with a weaker field I'd honestly rather watch the Predator event than the Mosconi cup. These tram events (no matter how legendary) are like exhibition matches to me.

The timing is perfect for keeping some of professional pool's biggest names away from a Predator event.

Ah, the conspiracy theorists are in session again. In truth, Predator and Matchroom have done a great job in 2026 of avoiding schedule clashes.

This one is unfortunate, but only ten players are affected. Not that big a deal. Neither Matchroom nor Predator, nor the players are served well by this, but as we've so often noted on the forum, the avoidance of the occasional schedule clash is near impossible given how busy the world pool calendar has become.

Ever since the differences between Matchroom and WPA/Predator were resolved in mid-2025, things have gone very well for both the event producers and the players who have, with rarest exception, been able to play on the two most important tours in pro pool today. While Matchroom and Predator have, for the most part, avoided stepping on each others toes in 2026, neither can be expected to focus too much on the other's schedule in event planning.

since I live just outside of San Antonio, I’m very disappointed that the Mosconi players probably won’t be there. Fans lose as usual. Will definitely still be attending the event !!

At least women's pool won't be affected. And the men's field is so deep these days that men's event will still be challenging even without the Mosconi players.

For those that want to see a Predator event in which most of the Mosconi players are present, consider going to the Predator Jacksonville event, to be played from 12/14-20.

historically many of those players haven't attended the predator events anyway
This is really not accurate. The most recent Predator PBS event was Vietnam, and just about all the name players were there. Similarly, at the first Predator PBS of the year in Las Vegas, virtually every elite player was there. Same is true of Predator St Louis.

And I imagine that Predator didn't want to schedule on top of Thanksgiving, but they thought it would fit the MC well.
