    Pool Table lamp...help.

I want to make a functional, no frills lamp for my 7 foot table that is located in the garage. I was thinking about mounting 3 metal shades on a 60" long metal bar, but I was wondering what kind of incandescent bulbs do you believe work best for this, and what wattage. Regular clear bulbs or...

    This Drill is freakin TOUGH

From an ancient Brunswick booklet: CHICAGO POCKET BILLIARDS This game is played with the numbered balls from 1 to 15 and a white cue-ball, as in Fifteen-ball Pocket Billiards, the object being to play upon and pocket the balls in their numerical order. The table is laid out for the game by...

    What are cue points?

Hi. Reading about cue manufacture I see people often refers to "points" (cue with no points, 2 points, 4 or 8 points) but I've been unable to learn what those points are or why are they important. Anyone would mind to enlighten me on this? Thanks.:o

Thanks, David. Then the difference is that the better quality sets are molded from different color plastics, not painted?

    Wal-Mart the Billiards Store?

Very interesting! They are selling an Aramith set for about $40.00, and it includes an extra golden 8 ball. Can anyone tell me if this "Silk Screen Printed" set is any good? Of course it is the cheapest Aramith pool set. I suppose that silk screen is the method used to print numbers and...

Playing Snooker on a 9 footer

I play "snooker" on my 7 footer pool table. I purchased the 22 ball set from Ebay, $9.99 plus shipping. Balls are 2 1/16 (official size). Yes, they are not aramith...but I've played a lot and these balls look still new. Of course, playing snooker in a 7 footer is nothing like the real thing, but...

Fake Aramiths on ebay being sold as Aramith's

Info does not harm, cocobolo. I wish to buy a set of Aramith and has to be online, so if picture is not a very clear close-up I can ask seller for a close-up, and based on what I've just learned in this thread is less probable that someone sells me a set of Kung-Kiang-Pan balls in an old Aramith...
