    OB Plus Shafts...

Since the title of this thread is OB Plus Shafts...I thought I would give my impression of my OB2+ shaft and get the thread a little bit more on track. Let me start by saying it was love a first stroke! Literally I screwed it on my cue at Seyberts, chalked up and first shot I took, I was in...

Ultra Skin tips under the Microscope comparison.

Tom, I know that guy has been out of the thread for a while, but I think someone is a little jealous that your tips are so popular and your so well liked to boot. I cut the kamui off my Z2 to install an Ultraskin, and love it! I have been playing with the Everest that came on my OB2 plus, just...

    How Would You Run Out?

HAHA, just saying there is an option there, not a good one but an option. I should get creativity points for not opting for the combo. lmao

    How Would You Run Out?

1 tip follow, 2 speed on the three in the corner -> cue ball 1* short rail 2* long rail location, 4 in the side 2 tips draw, 4 speed try to get the cue ball to come off the end rail and past the 8 on the 5 ball side to get to middle of the table above the 5. 5 in lower left hand corner, 3 tips...

    OB Rift Break Cue

Royce, Can you tell us what the MSRP on the new break cue will be? With wrap, without wrap, I am guessing shaft pricing will be the same. Thank you!

Why would you use a break cue??

I just flip my play cue and break with the rubber end, works great and is much better to break with then the 11.75mm tip on the other side. Lol I still am not good with jumping with either side. Still working on that one. Lol I like my break stick because it makes a lot of noise and ups my cool...

    Am I overusing English?

IMHO, you will never get better playing that way. The difference between the pros and the amateurs is not there ability to make shots. Its the ability to play position. Professionals usually do not try and make difficult shots, they play position to make every shot easy. I played similar for...

New Clear SS Black Kamui Tip

So I went with a Ultra Skin Medium after talking with the guys at Seyberts. So far so good, but only time will tell.

New Clear SS Black Kamui Tip

Thing is I really like the black SS that was on my other shaft, I put the clear black SS on my Z2 and it's driving me crazy! I want to believe that putting black SS on will make me happy again, just don't want to be throwing $20 away if it doesn't.

New Clear SS Black Kamui Tip

I am definitely willing to take advice and suggestions on what tip to try next. The price of the tip is irrelevant. I am thinking Kamui Black Soft for now, also considering a Sniper tip. I need to get the tools to change them myself. Save me the 30 min drive to seyberts. lol

Thinking about returning my Z2 S tuned

For me I like the pro taper, because of how narrow the shaft is. I can get my closed bridge perfectly tight and as I stroke the cue the taper doesn't slow down my stroke by dragging on my fingers anymore then I want it to. If that makes sense. Consistent size shaft = same feel in my bridge hand...

New Clear SS Black Kamui Tip

Seyberts installed it...I don't have an issue with up keep, but mis-shaping almost immediately is kind of ridiculous. I am going to seyberts either Wednesday or Thursday to have a new tip put on. I was thinking black soft this time. But considering something harder. Haven't decided. I like the...

New Clear SS Black Kamui Tip

I am actually really frustrated by my SS Black Clear...shape into perfect dime shape, 2-3 hits and its completely miss-shaped and flattened out!! I never seemed to have had the issue with a regular Black SS. I even cut the top off to see if it was just the top half of the tip to no avail...

Thinking about returning my Z2 S tuned

True, but for me it's knowing I have complete confidence in my cue. Having complete confidence in my cue, stroke, stance, etc. Leaves me the energy to focus on making the shot and position for the next shot.

Thinking about returning my Z2 S tuned

Alright, so I made it to Seyberts today. Rick took care of me. He straightened the shaft, then he "faced" the butt to the shaft so it is perfectly in line. If you roll the shaft on the table by itself its perfectly straight. If you put the two together there appears to be a slight...
