there is a few guys i usually play with have got either poison or player, thats part of the reason i dont want them lol. I might just get a new ob break shaft to out in a old cue butt

According to Royce, it might come out in a few month, they do have at least one more other product before the extensions. I reckon it will be a long wait

Yes, all playing cues now come with the plus shafts. The new shafts are replacing the original OB shaft which are no longer made.
We will have Plus shaft demos at the BCAPL event in the Rio in 2 weeks and also at the APA NTC at the Riv next month.
We will also have the OB-136 for display/test hit at both events
Will you be selling these shafts @ apa ntc as well? I currently play with ob2 & ob pro but would like to test hit both + shafts before purchasing.

I got my 2x pro + finally came. Having owned, 314 pre cat, 314 catted, 314-2, Classic, Pro, ob-1, z, z2, wd700. This is hands down the best shaft period. Deflects just like a z2 from what I have seen, but very solid, and feels like maple. Put this shaft on any butt and you have an amazing player. Wish ob would give more tapering options. Ordering up a classic + now as well.
just got my new ob 121 with the new 1+ shaft yesterday. played with it in league last night, and i'm very impressed. the hit feels much better to me than the older generation shafts i've hit with. won my match last night, and definitely looking forward to getting back to playing with an LD shaft (the cue i have been playing with the past 8 months had a standard maple shaft) again. got one of the new lift jump cues as well, and i'm very impressed with it as well. jumps effortlessly, and the extra length is great for the longer jump shots.
Since the title of this thread is OB Plus Shafts...I thought I would give my impression of my OB2+ shaft and get the thread a little bit more on track. Let me start by saying it was love a first stroke! Literally I screwed it on my cue at Seyberts, chalked up and first shot I took, I was in love! The hit compared to my Z2 S-tuned is just so much better to me. The feel is amazing! I think I have played with my Z2 one time since, and that was so my buddy could try out the OB. I am not a scientist when it comes to deflection but cue ball on head spot full three tips of english aim at the center dot on the other end, stroke the heck out of the ball and it hits the center dot. Might as well be no deflection as far as I can tell. On the other hand, if you need to hit it softer with that much english, I am getting so much spin on the cue ball that its spinning the ball away from the shot line! So I just have to keep that in mind. Love the feel, love the spin, love the shaft! Highly recommended!

Also it would be amazing if you could send Seyberts a test break cue, so I can break with it and see how bad I need it that would be lovely!! :grin:

Thanks for the review! I'm getting super excited about my new Classic+. It shipped out a couple weeks ago to schon so they could put their specific joint on it and laser engrave the schon logo and everything. Should be about done by now.. I CANT WAIT!
I got mine yesterday. My new Pro + with 3/8x10 and original OB joint collar is at 104 gr. .
O got another question to OB: Does OB - or os OB able to - recommend a certain weight that fits most to the characteristics of the new Pro + ?? Would be interesting to hear something from OB about this issue. My new original bocote sneaky with the pro + now has 18,45 oz with a 47 cm balance point. Feels very well balanced and I could imagine, that such a high performance, highly efficient shaft fits better to 18,5 oz than to 19,5 oz.

Got my OB+1 last week, really like it will probably get another one in the future as my back-up. Had other OB, 314 and Lucasi LD this one feels the best to me.
