I was actually in Hardtimes many years ago. Top players room but also had areas for the fun players and dates as well. I don't know if its as legendary as it was but it was a great action room when I was there.

The story is the most important thing. I'm not sure but I think 'The Hustler' won the Academy Award for best screenplay. Thats a big reason why that movie was the best pool movie ever. Great story, like a Greek tragedy in a pool room. Good luck to Jennifer with her project.

My last question about your snooker experience. I have been practicing by using regular pool balls on a snooker table. I do this to improve my ball pocketing. Have you ever done this? If yes did you see an even bigger improvement in your pool game? Thanks

Thanks a lot. One thing I forgot to mention, I would also play with pool balls on the snooker table for about 1/2 the total time I practiced. I'm not sure how much more that helps but it the closest I ever come to realizing at times I come very close to being insane.
