Best pit table in the country

Don't know any rooms with a 'pit' table. A lot of them have a table that's used for action but not in any pit. Not real sure exactly what you mean here. Why is another question.

There are rooms nearby that have a gambling pit….two steps down from main floor level….where special, bigger bet and routine daily gamblers play. One can look at their game from above and enjoy the game, the chatter, the older men yakking and arguing and things like that.
I’m just interested if there may be other rooms with that set up. Thx

I think these days, what you describe would be found in a ste that was constructed for single use.

Sq footage is $ and few rooms own the properties they use...I'd presume they'd have better u$e for that $pace than a thing of low interest and low utilization.

Free advice, worth every penny.

JOB’s outside of Nashville had a pit table located just to the left as you go in, don’t know if it’s still there.

There was a table with theater seats around it in Atlanta. Been a generation ago, probably gone.

Buffalo has tables of every pocket size to play on I believe. He likes crawling on a table to reach a shot so everyone can. That doesn't mean his room isn't well kept. Hurricane forced me to move away but Buffalo is the best room owner I know of. I knew a few that might have kept up with him but they are long gone. Tee Neg ran a place over the bayou hard to beat, another a generation ago. The place was still there not too many years ago. No surprise, a new name. I didn't go in Tee Neg is no doubt long gone.

Shane Wolford's family room in VA is sort of a continuous pit. The room is split into two halves, one half has a row of 9', the other half has a row of 7'. Each row has the tables placed side rail to side rail. Between each half is a raised platform maybe 5' in the air. It has tables/chairs, a wide railing on its entire perimeter, and steps on each end. It makes good viewing to watch a match from above, on any of the tables.
