Reddit banned me for posting pictures of Temu pool t-shirts

My 600-day streak of posting on Reddit ended when I posted there pictures of t-shirts. Reddit permanently banned me for having violated r/Billiards Rule #3:
AI slop is not allowed. That includes pool apps. Please create your own content to be posted here. Free apps allowed over at the r/billiardsapps sub​

And wrote:
We don't allow AI slop as stated in Rule #3. We also have a longstanding problem with T-shirt scammers posting billiards shirts here for the last decade where they get your payment info and steal your credit card. A couple of the shirt designs you posted are the classic ones that T-shirt scammers use. After people comment, they send DMs to the commentors with links to scam sites where they can "order" the shirt designs. Your comments are also regularly filtered by the automod for containing words we don't allow here on the sub. ​

This was not AI slop; Temu slop, perhaps, but not something I got AI to make. Reddit's moderator seemed to agree with me that I was not the t-shirt scammer but kept in force the permanent ban.

Nearly two months later I formally appealed the ban and it appeared to go to the same moderators as before. Reddit ended the permanent ban and allowed me to post and comment again.

It’s odd because why the interest in AI slop? Why the permanent ban and, then, recognizing weeks later what was evident all along by ending the ban?

I had posted four of the same pictures on AZBilliards and there were no comments and no ban there.

Photos below of the four pictures only found on the Reddit post, the Reddit post's first page, and the AZ post.

Knee jerk reaction due to the high number of asshats stealing people's shit.
If they would've taken the time to read your stuff, maybe that would t have happened, but who knows. It is Reddit after all. 😂
 
1) I've never posted on reddit, but if they do indeed ban ai slop, and ban members who post ai slop on their pool section, I'd probably like it there!
2) What was your purpose of posting those t-shirts anyway? They are ugly as hell. The only reason I could see someone posting them was to actually try to sell them (or scam). So seems like the moderators were doing the right ting, imo.

I disagree. The rule itself is good, but what if the OP posted them to alert the r/billiards subreddit or any other subreddit that Temu slop exists and efforts should be made to avoid it? Should we just blindly act like it doesn't exist and then end up having people who buy such crap in infinite quantities?

If temu used AI to generate the image, the AI detection software will still recognize it as such.
 
Honestly... are you really upset about being banned from Reddit, or at least the billiards subreddit? It's nothing but "How much is this *insert shit cue* worth?" or "what could I work on" then posts the world's ugliest break and run like they actually did something.

Most subreddits are retarded trash anyway and most of its stereotypical users downvote you over factual posts like the emotionally immature imbeciles that they are, and most of the stereotypical subreddit moderators are permavirgin incel knobends with a massive hard-on for banning people for no good reason. That said, I can see why any act of injustice, no matter how insignificant it is, can rub people the wrong way
 
Always ask a moderator first if it’s okay to post stuff for sale and what you’re selling. It’ll avoid a lot of problems. Unless its a for sale sub.
 
I don't think those t-shirts are ai slop anyway. I'm fairly sure I've seen them all 20 years ago. Still, ugly as sin, and there is zero reason anyone that can make BIH should be sharing them.

Not saying I think this now, but when I first read your posts a while back, I thought it looked generated, like, maybe not human.

You can only tell who responded to who by closely following the right-angle conversational line that links each response to the respondent.

In that scenario, you'll need to be proficient in microsoldering, and knowing how to follow traces and probing then for continuity lmao
