In my years of playing/traveling, you'd once in a great while, run across rooms that have either a Golf game, a Six Ball ring Game or some other local game for a group of players on a 10' table.
This room ring game, got played 364 days a year and sometimes Xmas evening.
My pick would be an OK room
1. Tulsa Billiard Palace with chairs surrounding a solo 10' Golf table with the bar seating overlooking.
This was the room Gabe Owen/Matlock played in Allot.
Never much saw if ever these two on that table, some local non player/trademan was very good, all other games he was beatable. This table got played on Every day.
2. Hard TImes Bellflower CA
3. yrs ago there was a great Golf game at Bowl Mor lanes in Colorado Springs, before the Grady yrs.
Heard in Denver there's a room with a 5x10 ring game going on all the time 2026, likely Golf.
Some room in an industrial area, all the Denver roomies go there, warm in the winter :).
Layout....
Tulsa Billiard Palace/you walked in the front, room split in two. To the right was underage, no drinking, left was the adult pool room. nice set up never seen that layout Anywhere.

I'd enjoy trying to play a few racks on a 5' x 10' table that isn't a snooker table , nothing against snooker but I can't think of ever seeing anyone ever play more than a game or two if that .
Which is a sad situation .
I'd use a snooker table to slow my roll, tune up, so to speak. Throw a set of regular balls on it and humble yourself for the next 2 hours. 🤦🏻‍♂️

You're referring to what was the 'new' Palace at 21st and Memorial. Yes it was split in two but not by age. It just turned out that way as Jim expanded and took up more of the strip center. All the foosball and bb's were on the right and big tables and golf table to the left. At full pop it was around 15,000sq/ft. 24/7-365 non stop action. Helluva spot in its day. Couldn't tell 'ya how many road players ended up staying in Tulsa(some worked at the Palace) 'cause they went tits-up playing at the Palace.

Gabe, rear bathroom to the left.
I was in a tournament match, ready to grab the door handle, had to pee.
Gabe cut/ran Right in front of me, I waited nearly ten minutes.
He was gambling and needed to freshen up.
To this day, it's the only time in my life I waited and heard anyone.... just happened to be Gabe take a shower from the bathroom sink towels and warm water to freshen up and a continue his gambling.

I 'bout started on a snooker table. DIY improvised method until many years later I had the time to "work on accuracy" and developed what PJ calls overlaps. Ironically, this latter part was on pool tables. Can't say CPG would've helped at the beginning. would have altered the universe probably.

Altered States.😉

They used to have a regular golf game on the 5x10 at Shooter's in Riverside, CA. Pockets were barely big enough for a ball to fit in. Top players used to gamble on spot shots. Pot could get huge before someone made one.
