Looking for a photo of Ray “Cool Cat” Martin’s 1976 Szamboti. It has old style Willie Hoppe points. It also has black ebony & white hearts near the white butt cap. It was used from 1976 till sold to Fat Boy (date uncertain). He used it to win the NYC 1978 World Tournament & the Sands King of the Hill in Atlantic City in 1981.
Any pictures or leads greatly appreciated!

I think you can find pictures in Martin's book "The 99 Critical Shots in Pool."
While there are pictures in that book of a cue that could be the one described in the OP, the images are very small so the butt is only about 1/8th inch across and the design is not really visible.

The OP could try to contact Fatboy. He hasn't been on here in over a year but is occasionally on pool stream chats.

Last I heard from him he was living in Dubai.

It's a very nice looking pool cue I'd darn sure use it if given the chance . Or even a cue made similar to the dimensions of it would be fun even !

hand made points do not match up perfectly. and cues were made mostly for playing and only so much time could be put in for the price of something not of great importance to the player. as nowadays.
george made mine for like about 100 bucks in a short time. colored points, ebony, leather wrap. one shaft. free newspaper and bag.
threw away the papers still holding the goods.
