What I don't understand is why teams are allowed to have one player from the above division on their roster and still be able to play in the lower division. The turnout in the master's division clearly shows that most players are looking to get into the weaker division and steal the money...

Only played one season of CPA(APA) 9 ball and finished the season as a 9. Played lots of VNEA/BCA and am a master in both.

I've been playing with the same schon for over 20 years, both original shafts still have the original micarta ferrules....pretty amazing considering the amount of play I've put on the cue. This cue and I will never part and I have no desire to play with anything else.

This is the first time that I've seen one even close to mine and it's taken 20+ years. Add 4 small ivory diamonds to the butt, a white butt cap and micarta ferrules and it's mine. It hits better than anything I've ever played with and it's not even close. Good luck with the sale.

Exactly my thoughts randy. Just because a company says they are non-profit doesn't mean that the employees/managers/owners are doing it for free, many times they are paid VERY well for what they do. Often it's a matter of creative accounting to ensure that the companies aren't showing a profit...

I was just checking the draw sheets and noticed a really large number of forfeits, even in the later stages of the brackets. Anyone know what the deal is? Are there not set match times? Seems very strange to me considering the caliber of players that are doing it....Stan T, Amar K, etc.

The funny part is that people are referring to Stan as an amateur yet for as long as I've known him(25+ years) he's made his living playing pool, not sure what makes you a "pro" but I'm pretty sure he's one...
