I think the j&j break cues suck IMO the shafts are to fat. I think that my 50 dollar player cue with a phonolic tip is better made and is more comfortable with a 13mm shaft. I have never cracked a player yet. Killed 2 J&J's thoe in the past. I think for realy cheap cues player and 5280 cue seem...

I break hard. I don't bend the shaft to much. I just think that the quality of the J&J cue is not that great. I guess ya get what ya pay for.I got one from them before that just sat and when I looked at it It was already cracked at the joint. Maybe had to do some thing with how they cured there...

That model J&J is ok I have crack three of them bye breaking with them.Wish they would put some collars on them.

I have a ned cue just like this one cue hitt's awsome.IMO

Around $150 sounds about right to me for your cue....:)
