Dave sorry its taken me so long to get back to you I was with the cue repair guys counting my millions and cashing all my endorsement checks..... You would need to speak to the company owners in regards to their PSI. Their setup and the stabilant itself is proprietary, and theyre both...

Joey I cut mango a little oversized and it stabilizes a lot like koa. Not much twisting and warping but I still go about 1.75 square to be safe. It will add significant weight.... Might as well respond to the OP here as well, so I don't have to retype this again. 1). Make sure your wood...

Wow Eric, the name calling seems to come easy for you.... First it was "Hack" for one of your fellow cuemakers a week or so ago, and now you're calling me a "SHILL". 1). First off, the question was in regards to stabilizing some redwood burl.... I might know a little bit about that.... 2)...

Dave I have done A TON of stabilizing myself.... that's why I send to the PROS. Isnt it coincidental that he used the 4K PSI number? hahaahaha....The math is off Dave, the tank is pressurized up to 4K.... redwood is VERY difficult to do right, and even some of the PRO outfits have trouble...

Conifers like redwood can be rather tricky to stabilize properly.... I got a chuckle out of this "tip" about stabilizing redwood from one of the "home stabilizing" suppliers. "These woods are known to not absorb much XXXXXX XXXXX in a vacuum process. To get good results, you need REAL high...

    Finish with no finish?

I have used the Birchwood Casey Tru Oil on a lot of different wood, from stabilized to raw, with finishes from high gloss to pull back with steel wool. You can build up your layers and have a lot of control on the finished look you want. Patience is the key. I would consider it a "finish"...
