    Cases: Whitten vs. JB

I never owned a Whitten, but my JB had been the best case I have ever owned. The protection of the interior is hard to beat.

Corey Deuel and his contribution to pool history

I really laughed out load at the video. Kudos to the kid that made it. As for Corey, you have to give him some credit because the point is to win without breaking the rules and he figured out how.

Opinions on 9-Ball Tourney Hill/Hill Controversy

Seems like the rule is no slop shots on the 9. Unless everyone calls every 9 ball shot, even those sitting in the pocket. Seems everyone agrees he made the intended shot. I wouldn't want to win or loose because of that.

Using a bar cue for draw...

It is a combination of a well shaped tip and the one piece cue stiffness. All or most of the energy was transferred to to cue ball. Add in that you hit the sweet spot on the cue ball with a good stroke and magic happens.

SVB vs Corey D racking issue

The triangle rack should be retired and put to rest. A template gives everyone the same rack the way it should be. How well someone manipulates a rack should not be a part of winning or loosing. People are always going to look for an advantage in all competitions as it is human nature. A...

    Opposite hand

I play right handed but I am left eye dominant. It is easier for me to shoot lefty than use a crutch. I do need to work on my bridge more tho.

My son won back-to-back Colorado Junior 9 Ball Titles!

Congrats to you and him. I wish my son would take an interest in pool. When he was 3 and four he would stand on a box and shoot some balls that was set up close to the hole. He could stroke the cue pretty straight at 3 and I think he would have done well if he stuck with it. Now he doesn't want...

    Isn't there enough proof yet?

There are psychological reasons that winner break is the best option. Most people play with a rhythm and some fast ones at that. Giving up the control of the table will break any rhythm. Most all pool games favors the breaker.

    Natural Talent?

Between the age 0f 14 to 18 I played at least 8 hours a day and I didn't play as good as some guys only playing a few hours a week. I come from a small town and didn't have proper instruction at the start. I had only an arcade room with a pool table in my town. I had played several years before...
