maybe someone pointed this out already somewhere in all these posts... Assuming BHE, a 60" cue and a 6" bridge: To move your tip over 0.5" you need to move your back hand over about 4.5", the backhand moves over about 9 times the amount you want to move your tip.

Intuitively I think the slightly greater angle the cue strikes the ball with BHE would impart more spin.
