Regardless of what you think of the product, you have to admit they made a great KickStarter promo video with Ms. Lee. If they keep coming up with classy stuff like this who knows - you may find one under the Christmas tree. Good luck to them.

If a non patented product already exists in the public domain no one (even its original inventor) can then patent it. Anyone can make knock-offs and sell them.

I think he's veering the cue off to the side so the ball doesn't drop down on it and training a hook into his shot. Might be better if the ball paused a couple second before dropping.

How important is made in USA to you? Or would you prefer saving about 20-30% though it's made elsewhere?

An iOS version is kinda on the back burner. In addition to porting the software it would need different hardware and some licensing fees come into play. It would end up costing more to make and we're trying really hard not to need a price increase. Would it tick you off to be charged more for...

The QMD unit weights about 1.6oz. Lighter would be better of course, though it's not too noticeable.

Yes, the top view of a recorded shot would show the cue hooking off to the side on the backstroke and returning to straight on the forward stroke. It would also beep at you during your stroke to let you know you're moving off line.

Comes up pretty often when you need a little less/more cut when there's an obstruction between the cue-object ball. Outside cuts more, inside cuts less. Be aware of the deflection so you don't hit the obstruction. Disclaimer, I'm not a better player, but I found this is very handy to use.
