I'm with ya. That place is horrible when it's crowded. I think if they made the smokers go outside, the crowd inside wouldn't seem so bad so more people would come in to watch. I think they'd make more money. The total attendance at anyone one point would be full bar inside plus a bunch of...

Just played some there last night. The new cloth and balls are great. I've gotten the impression that there will be a lot of big name pros playing this year. It should make this one of the best Opens in years. Heck, I signed up just hoping I last long enough to play one of the big boys...

I'm planning on being there. I've played 10-ball ring games (paying on 5 & 10) along time ago - never a tournament. Is a tournament just the same as 9-ball (except 10 balls, of course)? Or, what are the other differences?

I had heard someone mention this tourney at Fast Eddies on Saturday. That was the first I heard of it. I actually found this thread searching for info on when/where it was held. Sorry to hear it won't happen. I guess I just missed the original post. But, getting the word out better would...

I play in a league in Austin and never heard about it. In fact, we're over half way through our second season and still haven't received our membership stuff. I'm starting to wonder if it's a legitimate league...
