i think you may/will have a small O2 tank with a metering device/gauge and a cannula. smoking can present a problem with oxygen usage but that is anywhere,anytime. ignition sources and O2 are not a happy situation. i'm happy to see oxygen users out and about whenever, wherever. if poolroom is...

nope. the tip burnisher is indeed the cause of scratches on ferrules when grit gets between ferrule and sides of tip burnisher as referenced by several, me included.

after about 15 years with a Schon SR6, i had the same slippery linen problem. bite the bullet and get it rewrapped. linen will hold up for a long, long time, with not a lot of expense. sure wish it had not gotten stolen. i did try wax paper. didn't like results.

i would advise(FWIW) to go with 99 critical shots and robert byrnes standard book of pool and billiards. by the time you have shot a lot of the shots in martin's book light bulbs will be coming on(hopefully). if you can and do master the 99 critical shorts you'll be a happy camper.
