New 45 Point Blue Grass For Sale

I have a Bender with 40 recut points, and I love the look, but it certainly adds to the price and some may not think it's worth the money as compared to veneers (though I do).

How to suck the credibility and fun out of an ESPN tourny?

C'mon, gang, the whole thing was meant to be corny and a partial put-on, and the "trophy" was in keeping with that. I thought it was fun if you accepted it for what it was.

    new accquired chris nitti cue

I own two, and I agree--probably $1K less than a comparable cue from a trendier maker.

    The Vision Thing

After endless experiments trying to line up properly with my screwed-up vision, I've concluded that with my eyes positioned exactly in line over the cue with the object ball, they (my eyes) are slightly crossed. I figure I have to live with the mild discomfort, but has anyone found a way to...

    Just one cue....

I'm with Myron. I have two Benders--one with an ebony joint and one with an ivory joint--and I love them both.

    Places in Dallas

I really appreciate everyone's responses and offers to play and/or provide transport. It now looks as though there's some question as to whether my trip is on. If it is I'll PM those of you who kindly offered to help.

    Places in Dallas

I'll be in Dallas for a few days in Sept. and would welcome suggestions on places to play. I'll be staying at the Anatole and may have to use cabs, so distance may be a consideration. Thanks.

    Rotating Cue

I've discovered that on my final forward stroke, I'm rotating the cue toward my body. This doesn't seem to happen with practice strokes. Any thoughts? Thanks.

    Pocket Shims

Where can I get them (for an existing table), and are there different kinds? Thanks.

    Practice on 8' Table

I have an 8' table, which is all that will fit in my basement. When I play on a full-size table I have terrible problems, especially with the dreaded long straight-in shot, to the point where I sometimes wonder whether practice on my table is even productive. I know there's no magic bullet...

    Mc Worter vs Nitti

I agree that it's basically traditional v. contemporary, but it's also price: All other things being equal, a McWorter will run significantly more than a Nitti. I have two of Chris' cues and love them both, but McWorter obviously makes a great cue.

whats your opinion on Lucasi Cues?

My two sons each have one, and both had the wraps unravel and required replacement at about $40 per. Both hit well, however.
