I used to lean mine somewhere safe until one night I had to go retrieve it from about 3 tables over and got the "I thought it was a house cue" line. since then I keep it close in hand and I like for my opponent to think I am just waiting for his next miss. Mike

i am not too sure about dents in the slate, but I can attest to the fact that jump shots and masse shot leave permanent marks in the cloth. i have had to outlaw any jumps or masse's on my home table when i have friends over. IMO, learn to kick better and you dont need a jump shot! Mike

I have to say that i would try my best to drill him, I firmly believe that you should not allow anyone to win just because of who they are. the one exception might be a child who is just learning the game. Mike

i voted yes, but it would have to be conditional on knowing that a fund is set aside for table maintainence and repairs. 10% over a years time would recover a lot of tables. Mike
