    American Hustlers new T.V. series

After reading the press release, I'm already skeptical. The lack of professionalism shown in the press release, which has numerous grammatical errors, is concerning. They didn't even bother to spell Jeanette Lee's name correctly. It may seem petty, but a professional, quality organization is...

BD Cues makes a great laminated shaft

Just wanted to publicly thank Bob Danielson of BD Cues for the new laminated shaft he made for me. I replaced my Predator shaft that I use on my Mikkelson cue with it and I've been using it for about two weeks now and am loving it! I can't wait to use it at the WPBA Regional Tour Championships...

If I were going to travel across the U.S. and wanted to visit the oldest pool rooms that are still running, which rooms would you forum members suggest?

Should a person born male with XY chromosomes be able to play women's sports (pool)?

Actually there was a transexual in California in the mid-90s that played in several regional WPBA events and I believe she played in a couple of pro events. There was some controversy at the time, but she was allowed to play. Her name is Lauren Ward.

Is playing late at night really better?

It was completely ridiculous and even more ridiculous is how unbending tournament officials are when you try to offer reasonable solutions to the problems. In the women's masters, tournament officials were approached and asked if the hot seat match could be played in the morning and players were...

Thank you Mr. Bobby Rone of Boggies Billiard for hosting WPBA RTC

Having played in several RTCs before, I can honestly say this was my favorite event to date! Mr. Rone and Kim White rolled out some true Texas hospitality, made the players feel welcome and special, and gave them consistent, top quality equipment to play on. It truly was top notch and I hope I...

Cues Stollen Story with a Twist

Holly, I'm so glad you got your cues back. I'm so glad everyone was so helpful too, but not surprised - it's pretty much Northwest hospitality. It was also great seeing you at the tourney! Hope the rest of your trip safe and not quite so eventful (cues stolen, tsunami...)! Mary Hopkin

    Shy but wants to play

If you get over to the Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Richland and Pasco - about 2 hours from Spokane) stop by Sure Shot Billiards in Kennewick. They have three gold crowns and three eight-footers; it's all ages and open everyday from 11 a.m. to midnight. Pool is $3 an hour before 6 p.m. The owners run...

    My BCA Vegas Experiences

Everyone from the NW failed to get in the money? I'm not sure what tournament you are referring to, but I thought the NW was well represented at the BCA Nationals. Jackie Fitchner from Oregon took second in the women's masters; Sherry Griffin of Washington placed third in the women's seniors...

    My BCA expeience

It's been a dozen years since I last attended the BCA Nationals in Vegas and it's truly amazing how the event has grown! Since we got here from Eastern Washington Thursday, it's been nothing but go-go-go and pool-pool-pool. Every time I turn around I run into a long lost friend - Julie Nogiec...
