I've known Brian since the early 1990's and he is good people. I don't understand any of the negative comments regarding Brian. IF there are any negative comments to be made I feel that they should be directed to the APA. It's their tournament and they know Brian and all of his accomplishments.

I like your comment. I feel that the casual player probably understands his place in the pecking order also. I don't think the banger quite understand the concept of actually 'playing' the game.

I've got all kinds of crap in my case. But the item I use the most, besides chalk, is a small piece of green felt to burnish the shaft of my cue. Tad gave me several pieces of the cloth in 1979 when I purchased my cue from him in Stanton, CA. He told me that was the only thing I needed to do...

Great point given. Also, think about it, you may have been given more advice than you realize. You had one fundamental flaw pointed out to you. You may want to consider all your fundamentals and get those in order before you work on drills/exercises. If you don't get your basics together...

Brian Parks, 2 time US Amature Champion, bests Reinaldo Perez of Puerto Rico 11 - 6 on the B side. While not playing his best game he got 'drilled' last night 11 - 4 by Johnny Archer putting him on the B side.

You couldn't do this on a coin-op table but on a standard table you can take the first ball you make and put it on your chair or your table as a reminder. Where I play they still have chalk cones by each table, although they aren't used. One gentleman would put his ball on top of the cone...
